What to do with unused traffic

Hi all,

I have a site that was getting spammed so hard my web-host disabled it. I knew it was getting spammed but I didn't realise how hard so thats fair enough. Now I don't know what to do. I guess I'm after advice on how to monetize an already trafficked domain that I don't have time to properly develop.

What would you guys do in this situation?

Choices are very limited if time is the issue, sell the domain if you dont have time to develop it. Used to be able to park it and make some recurring money, but that option is basically dead these days.

Thanks for the reply Mark. I didn't even think of parking because I basically have a problem with it. There's nothing more infuriating than clicking a link to a parked domain, but now I think about it I have even more trouble selling them. They're like children lol.

So I'm going to give it a go with sedo unless someone can recommend somewhere better. You say parking is dead, is that just because earnings are low or is there something else I don't know about?

Google dropped their parking service "hosted domains", and parked pages used to rank quite well in Google SERPS but these days they are usually dropped from the results quickly. So the days of parked pages are effectively dead.

I agree, SEDO is probably your best bet, especially if you have some pagerank and traffic

I did park the domian and it has made me feel a little sick tbh because the the click through rate so far is 6.7%!!! That's better than any site I've ever made
